Twistie Halo 3 Scarab by TwistieCrafter Twistie Halo 3 Scarab by TwistieCrafter
I started this project on the Scarab from Halo 3 a while ago. It was quite a challenge to get the legs to support all its weight they way it does in game, which I'm leaning towards the idea that such a vehicle could not really be constructed. There was a mention of anti-gravity propulsion helping to reduce stress on the weight of the legs but in the real world its design is bologne to me. I almost decided to just toss it in with my incompleted works, but I've finally finished it.

who would win in a fight?
Halo Covenant,
or ME3 Reapers?

Considering that the Reapers have wiped out life across the galaxy repeatedly, I would say the reapers.

They were a gift, though there are places online where you can buy them as spools. Unfortunately, they tend to have a minimum requirement of spending $5k because they like to sell in bulk.

I took pictures of it next to rulers so I have its dimensions, but it is no longer in my posession to take new shots with.

Length from tip of the front to edge of the back
9" 1/4
Width of Back Legs
9" 1/4
Height to top of Cannon
6" 1/4

I will however start taking new pics with a soda can next to it for a size reference.

nice job. as for real world design, the thing was filled with a mass of worms, so i think it could have supported itself.

Thanks, I can understand the challenge it poses having actually gone through with it. It was a daunting task, but it felt so good to finally finish it. :)
